Prāṇāyāma
Die vier traditionellen Aṣṭāṅga Yoga Prāṇāyāmas:
Recaka Kumbhaka:
anhalten des Atems in der Leere.
Pūraka Kumbhaka:
anhalten des Atems in der Fülle.
Recaka Pūraka Kumbhaka:
wechselweises anhalten des Atems in der Leere und der Fülle.
Sūrya Viṣama Vr̥tti:
atmen durch das rechte Nasenloch, mit den Qualitäten der Sonne.
Candra Viṣama Vr̥tti:
atmen durch das linke Nasenloch, mit den Qualitäten des Monds.
Śama Vr̥tti:
wechselseitiges atmen durch beide Nasenlöcher.
kraftvolles ein- und ausatmen (Blasebalg), mit anhalten des Atems in der Leere und Fülle.
natürliches verebben des Atems in der Stille.
Darüber hinaus haben sich die Hatha-Yogis noch eine Vielzahl weiterer Prāṇāyāma-Praktiken ausgedacht, die wir immer mal wieder zwischendurch üben werden.
